Acrylic Partial Dentures

Acrylic Partial Dentures are made for people who still have teeth remaining.

The Acrylic Partial Denture is made using a plate that covers the roof or the floor of the mouth.  Sometimes clasps are added to this type of denture.

This type of denture is relatively cheap to make compared to a cobalt chrome partial denture. The addition of teeth to an acrylic partial is an easy procedure that can usually be carried out in the one day at our clinic.

Acrylic partials are usually quite easy to take in and out of the mouth. They can look very natural. In spite of the fact that chrome partials are better fitting and better for the mouth there is always the likelihood that a clasp will be visible. Clasps are not always necessary for acrylic partials.
