Q. Is it more expensive to have dentures made from a CDT rather than a Dentist?
Each patient needs to have their individual examination and assessment.
From then you are free to decide who to choose for your treatment.
Q. Why can I not just phone for a quote?
Giving quotations is the sole responsibility of the CDT as this is part of the consultation.
Receptionists are not legally permitted to give quotations under Dental Council of Ireland criteria.
Q. Do CDT’s treat patients at home, hospital or Nursing homes?
You may phone around CDT’s to see who provides this service.
Their phone numbers are displayed in the FIND A CDT section.
Q. I have had dentures made by someone who is not qualified and I am not happy.
